Installation Requirements

Installing your Compotite EPS curb over:

1. Ensure the shower base is clean and dry. Measure and mark where the curb over will lay on the 2”x4”. aligning it with the existing framework.
2. Use an EPS-compatible saw to trim the curb over to fit perfectly over the existing framework. Double-check measurements for accuracy.
3. Apply a suitable adhesive to the underside of the curb over, ensuring full coverage.
4. Carefully position the curb over the existing 2”x4”, ensuring it aligns properly and sits flush with the surrounding area.
5. Press the curb over firmly into place, ensuring it adheres securely. Use a level to confirm alignment.
6. Allow the adhesive to cure completely as per manufacturer instructions before proceeding.
7. Once the curb over is firmly in place, proceed with waterproofing and tiling the shower floor and walls, ensuring tiles seamlessly transition over the curb surface.
8. After tiles are set, grout the joints around the curb surface, wiping away excess grout for a clean finish.
9. Consider applying a waterproof sealant to grout lines and the curb surface for added protection against moisture.
10. Inspect the curing of entire surface to ensure the shower is ready to be used.
