Installation Requirements

  1. Ensure the shower base is clean and dry. Measure and mark where the PVC curb will sit, aligning it with the walls.
  2. Use a saw suitable for PVC to trim the curb to fit perfectly between the walls or corner curb. Double-check measurements for accuracy.
  3. Apply a suitable adhesive to the underside of the PVC Curb, ensuring full coverage.
  4. Carefully position the PVC curb, ensuring it aligns properly and sits flush with the surrounding area.
  5. Press the PVC curb firmly into place, ensuring it adheres securely to the floor, walls or corner of curb. Its sturdy PVC construction provides strength, allowing for items to be fastened to it securely.
  6. Allow the adhesive to cure completely as per manufacturer instructions before proceeding.
  7. Once the curb is firmly in place, proceed with waterproofing and tiling the shower floor and walls, ensuring tiles seamlessly transition over the curb surface.

  9. Consider applying a waterproof sealant to grout lines and the curb surface for added protection against moisture.
