Installation Requirements
Install using Compotite Weld-Tite Multi-Purpose Solvent Cement or similar
- Determine the desired rough length of the drain body including the extra 2” for the flange on each end of the drain. (ie. a 42” drain body has a rough length of 44”). The Extend-O-Cap will add 10.25 inches to the rough length of the drain from where it is cut.
[a] For a 60” drain (62” rough length)- cut 1.25” off each end of the 42” drain body
[b] For a 58 “ drain (60” rough length)- cut 2.25” off each end of the 42” drain body [c] Make the appropriate adjustments for off set plumbing aiming to have a finished drain at a standard length if possible. (Larger standard sizes (2” less than rough drain body length) are 48”, 54” and 60”)

Turn the drain body flange down and cut the drain with a chop saw or other tool to the desired length

Apply ABS-ABS solvent cement to the edges of both theExtend-O-Cap and Drain Body to be bonded.

Snap the Extend-O-Cap firmly in place for a watertight seal
